The Preparation for Healthy Dance Certificate covers everything that you need to know when preparing to deliver a dance session. The Certificate is submitted and reviewed entirely online. Achieving the PHDC shows that you have the understanding of how to protect and support your dancers and yourself in the environment in which you practice. Healthy Dance Practice Certificate (HDPC)
The Healthy Dance Practice Certificate is designed for those teaching or leading dancers in any setting. It is applicable for anyone delivering dance activities in any style and for any age group or level of experience. Achieving this Certificate shows that you have a broad knowledge of healthy dance practice principles that enables you to support the physical and mental wellbeing of your dancers.

Healthy Dancer Certificate (HDC)
The Healthy Dancer Certificate allows an individual dancer in any style or genre to evidence healthy dance principles. The application refers to your own specific and unique dancing body in order to maintain your personal readiness to dance. Achieving this Certificate shows that you have the knowledge to prepare, practice and perform optimally and safely.

Top Up (PHDC to HDPC)
If you have already attained the Preparation for Healthy Dance Certificate it is possible to top up to the Healthy Dance Practice Certificate by further evidencing your ability to practically apply the rest of the SiDI Core Principles when delivering and evaluating dance activities for other dancing bodies.
