Collaborative partnerships

We believe that creating a healthier dance environment requires the collective efforts of various key players in the dance community. Our commitment to dancer wellbeing drives us to seek impactful collaborations with international organisations. Each partnership brings unique strengths, helping us build a robust support network for dancers everywhere.

Here’s how we work together to enhance dance safety and wellbeing:

Partnerships with examination boards & awarding bodies

We collaborate with examination boards to embed our Core Principles into dance assessments and syllabi. By integrating our principles into their training frameworks, we help shape future dancers and dance teachers with a strong foundation in safe dance practices. Through joint workshops and resource sharing, we keep educators and examiners informed about the latest protocols.

Alliances with Dancer Health & Wellbeing Organisations

These enable us to offer comprehensive care for dancers and dance educators. Together, we host seminars and conferences on injury prevention, mental health and nutrition, combining our expertise to develop holistic wellness programs that support dancers’ physical and psychological resilience.

Collaborations with colleges & universities

By working with academic institutions, we integrate our certificates and course modules into dance programmes. Our joint efforts include research projects, guest lectures and the creation of specialised courses focused on our Core Principles of Healthy Dance Practice. This type of collaboration helps educate the next generation of dance professionals on maintaining their health and safety.

Engagement with membership organisations

We partner with membership organisations to reach and support the broader dance community. These collaborations allow us to offer bespoke resources, training workshops, and professional development opportunities. By aligning with these networks, we advocate for widespread adoption of our standards and foster a community dedicated to dancer safety.
